Search in metadata

There are many good reasons to search through da|ra metadata:

  • To find data related to your research topic
  • To find specific data
  • To be sure whether the research data referred to in your publication already has a DOI-name
  • To learn more about an object found in a reference list of a publication referred to by a DOI-name

The quick and the advanced searches offer the possibility to search the collection of registered research data sets of the social sciences and economics. Faceted searching allows you to tailor searches according to your needs.

DOI resolver

When you encounter a DOI-name in a publication or in an online or printed text, it is easy to find out more about the object. Just enter the DOI-name into the search field of the DOI resolver to be taken directly to the digital object (book, journal, article, data, graph, lecture etc.) or to a detailed description.

The resolver can resolve the DOI-names of all registration agencies of the International DOI Foundation. Just enter the DOI and click „Go!“:
